Resin polishing pads create the gloss. Once metal bond diamonds and hybrid pads have removed the scratch pattern, resin pads step the floor through finer grits to the finish the customer is paying for — satin at 400 to 800, high gloss at 1500 to 3000. ZION stocks resin pads and ceramic transitional hybrid pads that run wet or dry on standard machines.
The ceramics and hybrids in this range are the smart middle: they cut like a metal bond but leave a refined scratch pattern, so you spend less time and fewer resin pads stepping out the marks. PolarShine resin pads and Most Shiny White pads finish a properly densified floor to a mirror gloss.
